It is used if the backside of the instrument is covered (e. g. if embedded into a console, a cockpit or a headlight). In most of the described cases, this more affordable mount is sufficient to wedge the instrument tight. Not compatible with Chronoclassic 2 series. *subject to manufacturer availability
