and the blues of the distant hills looked subtle and captivating while the sheep bleating on the slopes nearby kept me grounded

and I found that it made a very pretty scene

On this early May day

I wanted to make the garden's transition towards the summer season feel palpable through the strong light hitting the honey-coloured stone and the deep green of the fresh-cut grass

with Witney's St Mary's Church bell tower visible beyond the treeline

I wanted to capture the mood of a summer day with the characteristic bright blues of the sea and the plethora of wildflowers along the path
