The reel is mint unfished condition. The reel was spooled up with line and backing as a backup and was never used. Considered by Jack Charlton himself as his best work, the Charlton 8550C is known by anglers and collectors around the world for its machining quality. The 8550C series follows the Charlton Configurable
The finish is a lovely gunmetal color
The Swiss-style ferrules are size 14/64 with a perfect fit
Folks were always giving Vince flies
