The fabric is based off this 1920s French pullover night shirt we found a couple of years ago

Made entirely by hand—no pre-punched holes

There were a couple things we immediately noticed that we wanted to change

So rather than sending our yarns halfway around the world to be knit elsewhere

4-color gradient done by hand

Bedford cord was used as a workwear fabric because it was heard-wearing but lightweight

Faded and cracked screenprint

and still have a stream running through the mill which they use to wash and clean the cotton
