Yellow Military Pips Necklace on Gold ChainI love the clean designs and colours of old military pips and was pleased to find these yellow examples in yellow ochre. The central four pointed yellow star on khaki is listed as CCF (Combined Cadet Force) which was officially formed in 1948. The remaining pips are from the Royal Armoured Corps (RAC). I have reinvented them into charms for this gold coloured metal chain. Each pip has been finished with a felt backing and has a cream hand beaded edge.

I found some wonderful vintage textile which has made unique earrings

wood and seed pod beads in hues of brown

soft orange and berry

Each feature a wonderful silverwork flower with beads and sequins

I have used mismatched acrylic cabouchons for extra glamour and added my own beadwork

Time for something different

This particular pair of wee shoes are a beautiful burgundy colour and I have paired them with burgundy and aubergine chunky (and lightweight) beads

This glorious blue glass pendant used to be part of a belt - I think

A rescued plastic starfish strung to a lovely necklace of coral chips and vintage beads

I found it at the bottom of a trunk at a boot sale and I have at long last found the perfect piece to allow it to sing
