Lot 066 - Antique Brass Snuff Box Engraved "Thomas Griffiths / Blaina Mon" With Crossed Mining Tools, Dated 10/6/1910, 2-3/4" LAntique oval brass snuff box with hinged lid, engraved "Thomas Griffiths" and "Blaina. Mon" on the top, with crossed mining tools and punched star and foliate border decoration. "Blaina, Mon." refers to Blaina, Monmouthshire, Wales, a town historically associated with coal and iron mining. The reverse is engraved with the date "10 6 1910." The interior shows dark patina and residue consistent with use. The box shows overall surface scratching, patina,
