Blue Military Pip Brooch

Blue Military Pip BroochI love military pips for their colours and smart design. I have paired these two together to make a brooch. Handfinished with seed beads.

We have combined the little pig and bird with white coral and silver-plated cross charms

then this is surely the piece to wear to make you feel better

It would be possible to clip this onto a chain to wear as a necklace so a versatile piece

I decided to make it into a necklace and attached some vintage bird charms I had in my collection

green and orange

I enjoyed hand beading the bezzles that enable them to be hung from a necklace and although it took a while

Really pretty vintage starts with a turquoise stone to the center and delicate vintage bird drops

I have sewn them to a backing and added hand beaded details

00 am when taking these photos out and about in Berwick upon Tweed

They are are edged and connected with silver the gold seed beads

I have paired them with a delicate necklace of cream links with a carved rose at the bottom

I have handbeaded all the beads for the necklace in the colours of the cat
