This fly comes from the collection of a Sullivan County sportsman who, as a kid, grew up around many of the legendary Catskill fly tiers. There was a small batch of these rods made somewhere between 2004-2006

It is quite rare to see a rod from this series come up for sale

Original length ribbed brass foot and duplicated MKII check

and one a bit beefier for the bigger flies and for when the winds pick up

Smooth brass foot is unaltered and measures 2 1/2"
