It’s a true slice of Americana
I later learned that this particular location is near UCLA
maybe I’m wrong
but the queue was so impossibly long that I admitted defeat
I went here before heading to a live taping of Jimmy Kimmel on Hollywood Boulevard
and I knew instantly I had to draw it
I mean it’s the Chinese Theatre
places that take the experience seriously and make it feel special from start to finish
It’s either marking the beginning of a new adventure or the end of a journey
and the night version of this print is one of my favourite pieces I’ve ever worked on
I remember just standing there for a moment
