It is suitable for both overhead stands or dekstop boom arms. Features: Attenuates noise, shock and vibration transmitted through mic stands, booms and mounts. Inner shock mount ring rotates to engage ball bearings that lock microphone in place. Compatible with 5 8" 27 threaded stands. Designed to be used with the BP40.
