Lot 005 - Vintage Southern Pottery Grotesque Face Jug, Artist Signed James Roddy, Greer, South Carolina, October 28, 1999, Note Complete Handle LossPre Auction Notes: The handle of this jug has been broken completely off and is missing, not included in the sale. Jug is as found.
The two pieces are eggshell in color and are decorated with gold pin-striping
Here is a wonderful print titled "Wolf and Lamb
exposed in the same manner as in Plate LII
Around the base are the embossed words "FHEM-NY-ME-FEGIT ANNO 1669
