The potentially perfect 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon is a totally dry wine

A fresh and exceptionally spicy nose speaks of citrus and pear before introducing textured and solidly well-concentrated mineral-inflected flavors that possess plenty of energy on the notably dry

Delamotte Blanc de Blancs NV has textbook chalkiness

Note however that this beauty of a Griotte is markedly firm and will not be an especially inviting early drinker

This is definitely a "buy and forget you own it" wine as I would advise not touching a bottle for at least 10 years and 15 to 20 would likely be better

This terrific effort has evolved beautifully and still closely resembles my original tasting note from 2008 with its knockout nose that is classic Amoureuses as it combines seductive spice and a ripe blend of red
