but without the nobility
The 1947 exhibited an extraordinary opaque purple color with only some lightening at the edge
The wine is still a young
The fruit is better here
The broad-shouldered flavors possess superb mid-palate concentration that enrobes the buried but still quite firm tannins while culminating in a beautifully balanced
integrated tannin
They have kept 2005 and 2006 for now
This is one of those relatively rare wines that will age effortlessly for years yet should be enjoyable the entire way
The wine is loaded with dream-like quantities of fruit
it has a slightly acidic finish but shows plenty of ripe fruit
