A best friend moved away a few years back and when she was in Portland this week she stopped by to introduce me to her new partner

As I pass by on my daily walks and can't help but notice the scarlet-colored drupes that lay on the ground this time of year

All of them amazing in my mind

and 2011 on a dreamy commission I was lucky enough to receive

I dig the bare trees and the way the sky looks in the winter
