Curious Handmade Creature on Vintage Beaded NecklaceTo be honest, I dont know what this little creature is with its beady little eyes, but it is handmade, very cute and hangs happily from a necklace of vintage brown and cream beads. A character piece for sure.

It was originally in a plastic and brass frame which looked dated and didn’t do justice to this little work of art

This was certainly a lightbulb moment when we spotted this tiniest of switches at a recent antique market

The pendant hangs from a two-stranded necklace of sparkly aurora borealis beads from the 1950s

I've added brass spacers to complement the legs and so that the beadwork really stands out

Whinsome crocodile strung to a necklace of carved horn skull beads

and seed bead spacers
