Large Vintage Textile Cross EarringsI acquired two beautiful pieces of vintage goldwork in the form of large crosses and they yelled out earrings to me. I have edged them with black seed beads and fashioned black faceted cabouchons and buttons for the clip attachments. They are super lightweight and pack quite a visual punch.

the screw fastening between the thimble at the top and the body had worn away so it is now a very pretty pendant to this necklace of pink and orange beads

I felt it would be a wonderful challenge to make it into a piece of wearable art
