Lot 131 - Vintage Complete Staunton-Style Carved Wood Chess Set in Wood Box, Manufactured by Phidias, Made in FranceVintage complete Staunton style chess set with 32 pieces in cream and black, housed in a sliding lid wood storage box. The box is stamped on the underside with the Phidias logo, "Jeux d'Echecs," and "Made in France." The pieces are weighted with a turned profile in the standard Staunton pattern. Wax paper dust is present on the pieces from long term storage. No visible damage or missing pieces.
