The aging was quite respectful of the wine
red and black fruits
It's a beautiful wine drinking at point
fine tannins
A positively kaleidoscopic nose features restrained Vosne-style spice and a beautiful range of floral elements on the black fruit
but not invisible
As is the case with several wines in the range
it would be fair to say that it's not subtle
Considering some of the great old vintages from the fifties and sixties
intellectual bouquet with scents of dried honey
Lovely quality and overall this is a fine Nuits villages
citrus-tinged finish that is utterly beguiling
