It is made of black silk and trimmed with gorgeous pleated lace. It closes in the front with hidden hooks and eyes. The back is shorter than the front to accommodate a bustle. The long sections in front are called lappets. The cape is warm because it is quilted inside, as you can see in the pictures. It's in extremely good condition. Measurements
