Long Dangle Beaded Earrings: Vibrant Peacock Feather DesignClassy "Midnight Peacock" seed beaded earrings are handmade, by me, right here in Alberta, Canada! The central cabochon is made of acrylic and faceted to catch the light. The pattern is that of a peacocks' tail with many "eyes" in shades of dark blue and pale green. I have used Pale Aqua green Delica seed beads, Rainbow Mauve Delica seed beads and Blue Iris size 11 Czech seed beads to form a bezel that shimmers and shines. The edging is cobalt blue AB
Dainty and Precocious
The coordinating earrings are "Fire Opal" Swarovski Crystal square cut pillows that are 10x10mm in size and are set into antique bronze bezels and attached to antique bronze plated leverbacks
This stunning example of Indigenous beadwork took me over 30 hours to complete
with deep colour
Some Native American tribes such as the Cherokee
It would also make a great 15th or 30th anniversary gift
and the Assumption weave that is mostly red
it balances the Solar Plexus
and at a recent Round Dance I had several ladies ask were I got my lanyard since it was so handy
