scramaseax roermondThe seax is a replica of an 8th9th century piece found in Roermond (The Netherlands). It is an unusually long scramaseax, probably of Saxon origin. Seaxes of this type were popular amongst the Franks, Saxons, and Scandinavian peoples from around 650. The seax is battle ready, with a blunt blade and a rounded point.
