scottish court swordThe stylish colichemarde is a replica of an original from 1730. It was worn by one of Charles Edward Stewart's generals during the disastrous Battle of Culloden in 1746. Presumably crafted originally in France, this distinctive sword features a double hilt. This colichemarde (smallsword) is constructed entirely by hand. It measures 96,8 cm in length, with a blade of 78,7 cm, and weighs 879 grams.
