This is an extraordinary Sauternes
McIntosh apple
but with some Cabernet Franc (rarely seen in the Médoc these years) as well as Merlot and Petit Verdot
It has a thrilling Bordeaux-like personality on the nose that is more aloof than other vintages
this is quite aromatically similar to the Combottes save for more floral nuances
it offers a lingering mineral finish
